What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small pieces of information a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. Other technologies, such as local storage, session storage and tracking pixels, can also store information or communicate activity to a service. Browser history and cached page files are separate browser functions.

What the current site uses

ChoiceCode’s browsing, search and coupon-copying features do not currently set first-party cookies, save preferences in local storage or session storage, or include analytics scripts or advertising pixels. There is no account or shopping cart on this website.

Search and filter selections are held in the page URL. A copied or revealed code and its feedback are temporary page state; reloading starts the reveal interaction again. Copying asks the browser to write the selected coupon to your clipboard after you activate the control. It does not read the clipboard or create a cookie.

Your browser may keep URLs in history or store normal cached website files. Those browser functions are not an analytics or advertising profile created by these features.

Hosting, images and linked websites

Delivering a page or image involves network requests. Our hosting services and external logo-image providers may process request information for delivery or security. The description above concerns ChoiceCode’s own browsing features; it does not promise that every service provider or external destination has identical practices.

When you follow a merchant or other external link, that website may set its own cookies or use referral tracking. Such technologies are managed by the destination under its own policies. A link may contain campaign or referral information even when ChoiceCode has not stored anything in your browser.

Browser settings and future changes

You can use your browser’s privacy settings to review or delete site data, block cookies, manage history and control clipboard permissions. Private-browsing modes may reduce what is retained on your device, but do not prevent a server receiving the requests needed to provide a page. Manage permissions for linked websites separately.

There are currently no optional analytics or advertising cookies from these site features for a cookie-preference panel to control. If we introduce technologies requiring a choice or consent, we will update this notice and provide the relevant information and controls where required before activating them.
